Re: Tyres: Avon Sport / Pirelli Diablo / Maxxis / Bridgeston

Benny, I take it that you put the Maxxis Supermaxx Touring on rather than the Maxxis Supermaxx Sports??

Re: Opinions On: WindJammer II

Ok, quick update so far. Fitted the WindJammer on Friday night... took about 2 minutes including unrapping. very easy to stick on, although you dont really stick it on, its more grippy rubber if you know what I mean. Took the bike out for a ride on Sunday, sweaty as feck as I got stuck behind everyt...

White Firestorm Wilmslow, A538

Spotted: White Firestorm going towards Altrincham on the A538 just coming out of Wilmslow. [Today 28/06/10 - 6:15ish]

It definitely wasn't me (I was on mine.... and I'd know if I'd seen me)... so unless it was you Benny, you've gone from 1of1 to 1of3 in about as many weeks :whatever

Re: Opinions On: WindJammer II

Righty then... check for Arai accessories and there isn't a dedicated wind deflector type thing for all the way around... just one that goes under your chin. So... I've plumped for the Proline one... I'll give it a good test and post back my results! I was thinking of changing to the Shoei Raid II (...

In terms of the type of riding I do, its mostly commuting (either up the A34 to Manchester, or at the minute over Near Liverpool Airport from Macclesfield) so end up being in varied conditions, however I'll take the car if its pi55ing it down in the morning, dont mind ge...

Opinions On: WindJammer II

Ok then, as the title suggests I wondering if anyones used the windjammer II from Proline? http://www.proline-sports.co.uk/acatalog/UK_Wind_jammer_21.html Since getting my Firestorm I've noticed (its hard to miss) that the Screen's turbulant air is directed straight to the bottom of my helmet (aroun...

Tyres: Avon Sport / Pirelli Diablo / Maxxis / Bridgestones

Just been searching/reading posts on tyres for the Firestorm and after reading 'Whoa Nelly!' post about his SuperMaxxes, he sounds pretty happy with them... I currently have Pirreli Diablo's on which feel ok, but there on the way out so I cant really judge them in their current state. My question is...

Howdo!

Hello everyone! Quite a mixed set of circumstances have lead me to this forum, but I can say I've very glad to be on here... long and short of it.... Someone kindly pulled out of a junction on me on by beloved '01 600 Hornet (Which I never thought I'd part with), and what looked like a pretty undama...
