anyone using or thinking of using Evans Waterless coolant ?

I've got the bike in bits for it's winter fettle ( see superleggera project) and one of the items on my to do list is replace/flush the coolant and like most other site users I'm always on the look out for something better than I've already got, so when I came across Evan Waterless coolant I thought...

Re: my Aprilia Superleggera project

Glad to hear you have fixed the paintwork on the fuel tank, as you say it could have been worse if it had happened after it had been lacquered. Bonus it's now better than it was before  Chris. yeah it's getting there now and as you say anything that happens before the clear can be easily f...

Re: my Aprilia Superleggera project

Good work Budd  The colour scheme looks the business :D A shame about the tank falling like that after all your hardwork, I'm sure you'll make it good though, Chris. I considered quite a few different colour schemes I wanted something quite simple and basic and not a full on race replica, the...

Re: my Aprilia Superleggera project

Looking very nice Budd  Painting stuff, grrrr  Nothing worse than bleeding, runs I can handle. That red mist when you peel the tape off is unreal. Happened once on a 40' yacht I was working on 8O I thought the owner was going to have a stroke, he supplied the tape  For fairi...

Re: Op Storm IV Yorkshire 18-20 may 2018

R.I.P Rodney Bewes

Sad news yesterday Rodney Bewes as passed away, a fine actor best known for his role as Bob Ferris alongside Terry Collier (James Bolam) in the iconic series The Likely Lads and the sequel Whatever Happened too, both are still among my favourite comedy sitcoms right up there with Porridge, Only Fool...

Re: yorkshire 2018

Typically it was Flattys baby but he seems to have gone to ground lately so in his absence does anyone else fancy a crack at sorting it? Their are some great riders roads up and a...
