I can highly recommend this trip having been across twice now, hospitality really is first class, your treated as part of the family, food is fantastic both when your out on the road and stopping at a roadside restaurants and the supplied evening meals, roads are great..............only downside is ...

one of the possible problems as mentioned earlier could be the vacuum hoses, there's new ones on the way now so that should one issue sorted. It was the garage owner who done the dyno this time and gave it 3 runs as oppose to the one it got last time so I'm "assuming" the equipment wasn't ...

second run done today, swapped carbs from the black bike which had been dyno jetted and we set it up as follows - 180 mains, needles on second clip from bottom, 2+3/4 turns out with 45 pilot jets.......idles nicely at around 1200 but on the blip test it hangs very briefly at 2k so we thought its pos...

Should have another run tomorrow, Pete L and myself spent yesterday swapping the carbs from the other bike as it's already been dyno jetted, running much smoother now but not there yet....did find a possible cause for the particularly poor AFR, the vacuum hoses where somewhat perished and would bare...

So what is your setup? Exhaust, airbox mods incl velocity stacks, needles used and their position, main and pilot jets, screws, air filter. everything is standard apart from the high level stubby cans, the bike has been off the road for 4-5 years but led to believe the carbs where taken off and cle...
