Have your local dealer got anymore, in black with red decals? And how much did you pay?
Cheers Steve

Re: mechanical numpty in need of help
Your a bit of a trip for me otherwise I'd have given you a hand. However, they are easy to fit as long as you follow the instructions - which are clear and step by step. Read them in the house a few times the night before so you have time to think about it. There are two alloy hex head covers on the...

Re: Is it worth it?
It's not just a straight swap, they need a bit of panel beating skills to get it on there. If you use the search facility you'll find some threads about it. On the other hand, having to stop for fuel every 120 miles makes your group / individual have breaks so they can rest a bit, have a stretch and...

Re: Mirror extenders
Great news Phil, I had my ebay email to say mine are in the post and another email from the US postal Service to say they are conveying it - so all looks good.
Cheers for the post letting me know you got yours, gives me faith!

Re: How to balance your carbs
Carb balancing is way beyond my technical ability - 'edit' Having re-read AMcQ's post I think this may be within my abilities. Which leads to me adding another Q below; How often does it need doing? Does Halford sell the balancing gauge you used here AMcQ? How much does a bike shop charge do to the ...

Re: Mirror extenders
I looked on ebay at R1 mirrors and the only ones i could find for reasonable money were pattern parts - and sometimes the quality is less than desirable with ebay seller pattern parts so I decided to gamble on the USA sellers extenders. For a pair of good 2nd hand R1 mirrors your looking at over £5...

Before I saw your post I decided to have a gamble on them too. I hate buying from overseas - hope they arrive.

Mirror extenders
Hello,
Can anyone point me to where I can buy some mirror extenders?
I only seem to be able to find some from Taiwan for £50!
Anyone got any 2nd hand ones? Or does anyone make their own and sell them?
Thanks Steve
