Hi there, I have just bought a new battery for my bandit which is code YTX9-BS and am wondering if I can swap it with the older one in my firestorm as I am flogging the Bandit. It looks identical in terms of dimensions and the fixings are very slightly different but can't see this making a differenc...

Hi all! Got my Firestorm at the weekend - man what a bike!!!! Love it!!! Upgraded fromBandit 600 - what a completely different kettle of fish? Went out for a ride on the Bandit afterwards - was so annoying changing gear 4 times before I broke the speed limit!!! And it is yellow, so the fastest!!! So...

I have flattened the battery (didn't take long) so need to charge it. Can't get battery out without alarm going ...
