Barrio, you're right, the radial version won't work, but all the blade, sp2 and 600rr calipers (pre-radial) will bolt straight on to the storm! Add braided hoses and you'll be laughing! I'd say you change the pads as well -- this is for the same reason you change the sprockets along with the chain.

Or you can wait to change the disks until the pads wear off a little more.

SP-2 yes or no... depends on your usage: did you ever realize that the VTR has three more gears after the third? if the answer is no, be wary that on the SP-2 you will only have two gears
