Congratulations -- it looks great and with quite a few extras in place! And congratulations for the new baby as well -- I am sure both of them will be a source of joy for you. BTW, I also bought my Storm around the time my daughter was born... and pretty soon I had to buy a car as well  My onl...

The pictures in the first post represents (a souped up version of) the Honda VTR (250); the following page is in Japanese but pictures should still be visible: http://www.honda.co.jp/motor-lineup/vtr/style/index.html The engine is very similar to the VT250's but the frame is different -- somehow rec...

Barrio, you're right, the radial version won't work, but all the blade, sp2 and 600rr calipers (pre-radial) will bolt straight on to the storm! Add braided hoses and you'll be laughing! You don't really need to change the master cylinder at the same time, it's the calipers that will make the differ...

I drove a CBR1000 on a small circuit: scaringly faster than the Storm, OUTSTANDING brakes and a much smoother engine (two extra cylinders can make wonders...) Having said so, if I'd go back I would still buy a Storm: it is more comfortable and after 25.000 km it still makes me grin when I open the t...

isn't there a modern corsaro? made by cagiva or moto guzzi?.. There is indeed a modern Corsaro: http://www.motorbikes.be/en/Moto%20Morini/2005/Corsaro%201200/ http://www.iwan-bikes.de/morini/corsaro/corsaro_brochure.pdf It is manufactured by a somehow resurrected Moto Morini (i.e. someone bought th...

Mine was still running when I scrapped it because would not pass MOT; its p...

Honda spare parts price
In Japan there are rumors Honda will hike the price of models for which production has been discontinued for more than a year. The Japanese version of the FS has been last produced in 2003 but the FS itself is still in production (isn't it?) so there are chances this will not affect Japanese custome...

Using the rear brake too much? Humm.. most of the time I drive rather gently (my rear tyre lasted 20.000 km and my mileage is 12 km/l [32 mpg], driving exclusively in Tokyo) so it seems unlikely that my driving style is halving 8O the life of my rear disk. Maybe the CL pads were too hard on the Hond...
