In the meantime, I fitted a Sigma computer to the bike to give me a realistic speed measurement after I've changed the sprocket. A usefull wee formaula to have if you've fitted one and are trying to get the callibration co...

I only do that thing if I've been drinking. I've considered fitting a breathaliser to my PC to prevent just that! Why don't you just go the whole hog and get the carbon/kevlar bodywork to go with it?? http://web.tiscali.it/mario_nava/vtr1000_e.html And the engine covers ?? ( they're next on my shopp...

Scousers

What are the standard sprocket sizes for the Storm again??

I did try a search on the Yahoo e-mail group but the search facility seems to be pretty cr8p lately.

I had a loan of a GSXR600 earlier this year for a week and I'm still raving about it! It is a bit more work than the VTR but with that chasis it pays off. I know Aberdeen is a bit north for you but that same bike is for sale at the moment. 1998 S-Reg with less than 4k miles on it for £3500. I can v...

Cog Question

I currently have standard size front and rear sprockets front and rear. The question is, is it ok to keep the same length chain if I go down one tooth on the front sprocket??

MEZ3 Update - Got them fitted yesteday morning before heading down to Knockhill. They are fully scrubbed in and I'm happy with them. The bike takes a bit more effort to flick from side to side compared to the Bridgestones but they are very predictable and the bike no longer wants to sit up under bra...

I spent yesterday afternoon doing the Aprillia Superbike School at Knockhill and can thoroughly recommend the Aprillia from a riding point of view. It is such a nimble machine, excellent brakes and suspension. The engine revs a lot more than the VTR which takes some getting used to and there isn't q...
