It's going on Roger's dyno (Revolution Racing) on the 12/13 May, hoping for 125 at the wheel, as that's what Roger reckons a stage 1 will do. Fuelling isn't spot on, as there's a few minor low down flat spots, so looking forward to getting it fully sorted. It does launch nicely at about 6-7k tho! Ev...

very nice and if you dont know bikes she looks std-ish not ott like some home builds do That was the plan, always wanted it to look std until you got a closer look. Plus, really loved the std VTR, but thought - with a bit more poke, better handling and better brakes, this could be one hell of a bik...

mine went at 15,000 and 30,000 (ish).

personally, I would treat CCTs as a service item at every 10,000 or 2 years, or do as tony suggests and do a mod.

Bad luck m8. Make sure you check the valve timing, but even if it's out, it will probably be OK once sorted. I was expecting bent valves etc, but nowt that a bit of time with the tank, head cover and fairing off didn't sort. Funny how we both had the CCT go at 30 in 3rd up a hill after a Trackday 8O...

For the good of Firestorm owners everywhere, any chance of describing that deadly, unwanted noise so we have an idea what to listen out for. Cheer Kingster  Difficult to describe sound using words, but noticed it in first gear, pulling away under load (that'll be my belly). It was a sort of s...

My front CCT went a couple of weeks ago. The brand new ones look EXACTLY the same, so unless they have changed the heat treatment of the spring, then I can't se what these 5 changes are. Funny tho, the back CCt has lasted 50,000kms (import) and the front one has gone twice, once at 25,000 and again ...
