Re: Moto GP shake up 2027.
Yeah but like F1 it's the top category in racing... If I want to see road relevant bikes racing there's WSBK* or BSB. MotoGP is, & always has been prototype machines & should stay that way... OK reducing costs** is a good thing & over the years tech from the racing has filtered down to ...

Re: Moto GP shake up 2027.
So expect all manufacturers to rush out new 850cc superbikes. There won't be much of a CC gap between those and the A2 compatible versions. I won't miss the wings and aero- but the height-lowering tech on some giant trailers seems to have proved a good idea for shorter riders. Ah, well, the best ri...

Re: does VTR1000 2001 has lambda probe?
Tks guys, but just to be clear, my bike do has fuel inyection system, it's not carburated at all. How this works without lambda probe? Has somebody fitted injection to the bike because no firestorm came with it as standard? More likely to be an SP. It's an SP1 RC51 I have just checked  https:/...

What a metal surgeon you are, well done
That one certainly tested you to your limit and beyond I'm sure. Most would more than likely have had the cylinder head off to work on it, good job,
Chris

Very satisfying I would have thought, rather than purchasing them already made,

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Yesterday I had 3 hrs on the M1000RR BMW……. Sh1tting hell, that is an overkill bike. The seat, the suspension, everything is Just solid.. you don’t feel the traction, you just have to trust and push harder. It was a huge transition from the baby Ducati, and even the BMW owner wanted to keep the Duc...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I've had a pulsing vibration at wheel speed from the front discs for ages, so took my Brembo discs ( on the Aprilia) to Maidstone Motoliner a few weeks back to have them trued. But I still had pulsing, so, today I cleaned the discs using fine emery and Scotchbrite pads, and I also cleaned the pad f...

Re: HB the Duffster.
Sorry to hear of your Mum passing Duffy, my condolences to you and all of your family, Chris. Thanks Chris it was very sudden. I had only spoken to her the night before. I got a call from my sister that she had been taken to hospital, but she was 120 miles away and sadly passed before I could get t...

Re: does VTR1000 2001 has lambda probe?
Not as standard. They're only needed with fuel injection systems. But I added two lambda wideband sensors in the downpipes and connected a display to show real-time air/fuel stoichiometric ratios when riding, to aid carb setup, on my tuned firestorm. It saved the cost of repeated Dyno runs whenever...
