Re: Well you asked for another Ducati build

Good work, well done 8)

Having another read of this thread I can see how the red petrol tank will look better than the orange one with it being not so tall, although the orange tank looked okay to me until you posted a photo of the red tank on the bike

Re: VTR Guru Knowledge Requ

A bit late probably  but I would agree with Mac, Chris. Yes, very late  . Doesn't matter though; I'm too OCD for faded paint. Anyway, I had emailed the dealer with a tentative query. Got no response and today's enquiry I found the bike is sold. It's karma, because I am sure there would b...

Re: VTR Guru Knowledge Requ

Dream Machine, I think it may have been commissioned by Honda UK though... As such it's not a factory paint job. There are a few of them around, don't know how many were done. in UK you will need a torx bit with the hole in the middle …. most of the torx kits you buy have this design
Luckily I had one in some old set I had.

Managed to do it, bike is running sweet (once I'd remembered to turn the fuel back on!)
Well done

The engine was perhaps a bit too lively for the street ( I was also concerned about the omni-present "chugging" wheneve...

Shapes were cut from flat sheets, two bits, welded together one had an adapter welded on to it. This was then conected to a high preasure water pump. This ...
