On most datatool alarms to put it into valet mode you need to switch on ignition and press the other button on the fob
You know it will be in valet mode, by a chripping sound every 5/10 seconds

Well i've decided to convert my cct's to 'Chimp' manuals I get the jist of the worm drive modification, but personally a feel it's more of a fail safe than a permanent fix (well for piece of mind) I now have, if anyone is interested? . . . a set of working standard CCT internals, spring, worm drive,...

Thanks Timbo The front wheel in the pic, is a gloss black VFR750 one, which i've now sold on . . .
