Re: Black Frame

The powdercoating is done by a friend at his work place, anything I have done in the past has been masked in the same manner and with no problems after he said it'll be fine. It is only an oven at the end of day.. I have had three sets of wheels done, the frame, subframe, swingarm, levers, footrests...

Re: Fook me this man is fast

There is a feature about this fella in MCN and what he done to get it.. little bit interesting knowing the bike is standard engine wise but all he had done was to lose as much weight as possible and the years of going around and around the circuit.

Re: Black Frame

I know you have decided on your route but if it helps I have had my frame and subframe powder coated in a matt black. I took everything off it and only had to mask anything I didn't want coated in masking tape including the vin plate and the paintcode etc... then when it was done I just removed the ...

Re: Rearsets for the lot of us?

I was thinking about this a while ago and spoke to some other people about it, there are a few ideas going on in the background and some more involved than others with frame re-inforcement etc. I am sure one route will be better for some and another route better for others though. I think the thing ...

Re: CCT replacement/ alternator bungs

Look nice, any chance of having the face of the larger one so there are no holes around the hex area? Or would you be able to do a custom design for a premium?? If you can draw what you'd like to be different or describe to a good detail that I can understand, then I can't see why you couldn't have...

Re: CCT replacement/ alternator bungs

Just before I depart on a short break can I ask what most people would be happy to buy these things at so I can check if it is worth making more?

This would be in either Titanium or as per previous post Stainless... Aluminium would obviously be cheaper.

Thanks and i'll be back next week to check in.

If people fancy it I could always try and get a few made in 7075 which is really quite a sensible and mechanically tougher aluminium and s...
