now sorted.went the hack saw route.went through about third of the bolt and then tried again and for some reason it came off without spinning.took me then 20 minutes to undo little allen key bolt which holds lense on.a 10 minute job ended up taking me just over an hour.well worth it cos the clear le...

sorry dont know how to download picture.you have two bolts ,one either side on the subframe near to the battery.the bolts thread into a thread which is in the subframe.does this make sense to anyone.please help

spinning bolt

trying to fit clear brake lense but one of the bolts holding rear cowl to subframe is spinning and wont come off.dont really want to drill it out.any suggestions please.

unfortunately i met the tw@ once.i live in southampton and he was outside our hein gericke store.i have a set of remus grand prix exhausts and he approached me to start telling me they were very loud.needless to say i think u all know what i told him too do.hopefully bump in to him again and let him...

many thanks for your advice red storm.did everything you said.lot of corrosion around rubber cap area.cleaned and tightened everything yesterday.did a lot of stop go riding this morning and touch wood everything alright.my old mans a retired sparky so will get him to check everything with is voltmet...

three times this week bike would not turn over.i was suspecting a dud battery because i would jump her from a battery pack.went down to local dealer toldhim the symptons and he took the bike in the workshop.10 minutes later he came out and told me the bike was holding its charge but the starter moto...

damn seat

anybody out there could advise how to make the seat come off easier.damn thing can take me 5 minutes sometimes.fitted exhausts on saturday.my god what a noise.who needs an ipod when i can listen to those.on decelaration the noise is unbelievable.any advice regarding seat much appreciated

thanks for the advice.noticed when i got home tonight she was idling a smidge over 1 so i will set to about 1.3.fitting remus exhausts this weekend and cannot wait to upset my neighbours.start work at 5 in the mornings so will advise them they no llonger need alarm clocks.

cutting out

i was wondering whether one of you mechanical gurus could help.when i am riding in town the old bike cuts out now and again.she will start on the button straight away afterwards.this doesnt happen on motorways or any long rides.any help greatly appreciated.

thanks for the welcome.contacted previous owner and luckily he still as aftermarket cans and rack.he wont sell separately so anyone out there who wants a rack let me know.will be collecting from him next weekend.well impressed with bike,certainly showed up a few of my mates today.getting about 100 m...
