Anyone got an upper fairing stay for sale?
I managed to drop my Storm against a wall, and have bent and trashed the upper fairing stay. It won't straighten, so I need to get a replacement, and after a quick scan of eBay, they seem to be as rare as rocking horse droppings. Anyone out there got a spare they want to sell? For info, there's a pi...

Replacing the wiring loom/harness?
Hello all. Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and couldn't seem to find anything. I've got yet another electrical problem on my bike (blowing the 30 amp main fuse), and, on closer inspection, it's not surprising, as the loom/harness seems to be stuck together with spit and glue ...

Re: Tyres - PR3 or PR4?
Cheers all for your input. Hadn't even considered PR2's, dunno why, I've had them on before and liked them a lot. If the 4's have got a sharper profile on the front then they're out, as I really don't like a front that feels like it's tucking in, especially in the wet. So, looks like it'll come down...

Tyres - PR3 or PR4?
Sorry for yet another thread on tyres, but am after some recommendations. I got talked into having a pair of Bridgestone 021s fitted on my Storm, and I hate them. When they're cold they feel like they're well down on tyre pressure. They're ok when warm, but the front feels really uncertain when flip...

Re: Queens hill - Newport
Sounds like a plan - let me know when you've got the petrol vouchers together. I may even wash the bike, special, like!mattycoops43 wrote:I was, its all lovely now. just cant afford petrol vouchers. we definitely need to meet for a spin though.

If the one you saw was in need of a wash, it was definitely mine...
What's up with yours? You rebuilding it?

A bit late now, but that could well have been me - often go that way to work. Mine's on a T plate with fairing lowers.

Re: Blowing headlight fuse when engine revs???
Many apologies for the delay in posting - my feet haven't touched since Christmas. Anyway, just to let you know what happened, I finally swallowed my pride and gave it to my friendly local mechanic, who, after much poking and prodding (and calling in a mate of his who's an auto electrician), found t...

Re: Blowing headlight fuse when engine revs???
:confused OK, got new R/R, fitted it, no difference, in fact, in a new twist, the fuse blows as soon as I turn on the ignition. All the wiring seems ok, battery says 12.8v, which seems ok since it's been parked up for a week, but battery leakage is 0.4 mA - I presume that's telling me battery is fri...

Re: Blowing headlight fuse when engine revs???
Cheers Benny.
Just been doing the tests as per the manual and everything seems ok, so it looks like you're right.
Been looking at previous messages, and there seems to be an opinion that a later finned Honda R/R (e.g. like one for a CBR 125) is the way to go - would you agree?

Blowing headlight fuse when engine revs???
I'm having a problem with blowing the headlight fuse. At first, I thought I had a problem with the headlight switch, but it appears this may not be the case. I put a new fuse in for the headlight circuit, and everything worked fine this morning, Got to the garage not five minutes away to fill up, no...
