if you can't get the screwdriver under it as suggested above, try a drop of superglue in the socket where you put the allen key in, should allow you to get it out enough to get the screwdriver under it, you can tap it off once it is out.

I was shown a really quick way to get it off. Rotate key while pulling up on the rhs of the seat, this should pull it off the latch but still be attached. Pull the seat back and give it a swift knock on the part of the seat where it rises up the the pillion part. The knock should lift it off no prob...

Mine does this from time to time, if you look through my posts in workshop someone provided a link to a page showig how to modify the breathing jobbie for the carbs ??? I ain't no mechanic as you can tell :wink: 8O btw having swapped to Micron cans in the past few weeks the stutter / stall issue see...
