You also need the brackets to suit the std under tray, assuming that the aftermarket one required non standard brackets.
Then it's a simple process: unbolt the required sump bolts, bolt up the standard brackets, and fit the tray.

Did the old gaskets come out when you took the headers off? They often stay in the port on disassembly, and then you get the problem you describe, as you're trying to fit a new gasket on top of the old one. Try using a pick or screwdriver to make sure the port is "empty".

I've never been that keen on scrubbing in a new front, but today I put a new Bridgestone RS11 on and happily wandered about for 55 miles. I didn't go anywhere in particular, but took in plenty of roundabouts. I'm about two thirds of the way so far, but that'll do for the first heat cycle. Makes a ch...

There are loads of different formulae of Loctite, and each has different characteristics. Some "lock" tighter than others, so only use the stronger ones if you rarely, if ever, want to undo the fastening again. Others have resistances to heat or fluids- some won't work with exposure to oil...
