Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

The trouble is, there's too many things. If I had less things I could keep track of them. Obviously I need to sell some things so that I end up with a manageable number. All I need to do is to remember what they are, and where I put them, then list them on the sale auction online thingy, whatever it...

Re: Yorkshire 2020

OI!
I'm not cancelling yet, there's two months to find something to keep me in the manner to which I have become accustomed.

The snoring is merely in temporary abeyance.

Re: Yorkshire 2020

Not able to commit at present as I'm unemployed. Until that's resolved bike trips are off, may have to cancel NI and Scotland this year unless an offer emerges. Fingers crossed, though, I'm waiting for two outcomes at the moment. If the places are gone by the time I hear, so be it. The 2 doesnt get ...

Re: My first racing experience

I doubt I'll be getting any lap records but the magic sub-60 second lap is a target. Find a shorter circuit, or a short cut. Easy. Book yourself onto brands indy, you'll manage that alright, and boost your ego no end. Let me know though, and I'll head over there with my stopped watch, that should h...

Re: Evening all

Welcome, fella, good to find another southern storm out and about. Was thinking about Brands this weekend, there's a couple of good tribute bands on Saturday night as well, but looking at the weather I may just watch it on the telly this time round. And I can hear it from my back garden..... I'll de...

Re: Whats cheered you up today...?

Slipstream, my local Mot station, has closed, so I took the 2 to another one today. It passed OK, slight movement from the rear wheel bearings so that's a little job for a rainy day sometime. He weighed it, a few grams over 200 kilos, so another round of ti bolt replacement is called for. Rear indie...

Re: Random engine cutout

Check for loose connections, battery leads etc, and wiggle all of the connectors with the bike running, but the clutch cutout switches tend to fail and stay failed in my experience. Sidestand cutouts are sometimes temperamental, though, so try getting someone to hold the bike upright when running an...
