Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

As it happens I decided to support my local businesses this evening, while on my 8000 steps/day walk. I usually pass a pub, but today I popped in to pay tribute to my local. Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Thought about the rear tyre on the two oh no. Got a plug in the centre, been there a few months and I'd sort of ignored it until now, but with NI and Scotland coming up I thought I'd get a new one. The plug is starting to tear a bit on the surface, it's only a matter of time. Pirelli super Corsa, fi...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Dug the SP2 out of the back of the garage- it's been nine months since I rode it back from Wales. Being a Honda it started first kiss of the button. Warmed it up to fan-on, let it cool down and put it away again. The MOT ran out last week, I'll put a fresh one on when it's ready for selling. Still w...

Re: NORTHERN IRELAND July 17th to 20th 2020 NOT Cancelled

What's the situation if we cross the border into Eire, do we need to isolate for 2 weeks after we return?
I've looked it up but can't find a definitive answer.

Re: High level MIG's

You can fab a mounting bracket easily enough, using the rear footrest mounting points. Mig cans have threaded mounting holes, but once the internal mild steel plate with nuts welded on it rots away you'll have to make a new set from stainless with rivnuts. You have to disassemble the whole can to ge...

Latest money-making scheme: Buy Tracey Emin's old house in Margate. Property's still fairly cheap down there; I can afford it. Then sell it off to collectors, piece by piece: "Oh, yes, it's an original Tracey Emin, entitled "Kitchen door with knob"." "It's a more affordable peice than her seminal "B...

Re: NORTHERN IRELAND July 17th to 20th 2020

Update: holiday accomodation can open in NI from 26 June, pubs and restaurants from 3rd July. Staying overnight is possible. Two households can meet indoors or outdoors. Groups of up to six who are not in the same household can meet while socially distancing outdoors. But still 2 metres for n...
