Re: Somewhere West 2

Hey Tim, we may have unwittingly crossed paths! Wor lass reckons it would be about 19:30 ish when we hit New Hey Rd, we actually entered from Quebec Rd, Waller Clough Rd, out of Slaithwaite, then over the 62 to Outlane and down to Stainland. I would have been leading possibly a way in front, wor las...

Re: Explanations ......

They're both pretty wierd Stevie. Which side of the air filter was the swarf? Intake or Carburettor? Not that it probably makes much difference, either side of the filter would be just as freaky and unlikely occurence. As for the clutch mate, it's possible that the slave cylinder seal is on it's way...

WTF? Is it me?

WTF? OK so I've let it go for a while now, just in case I input wrong digits or did some other wierd logging on type thing, but now I'm convinced it's the new forum software and not the early onset of senility :mad2 Two things. First thing, tried logging on from various points on the forum, 2, 3, 4 ...

Not aware of anyone having a S&S VTR on here.

Be interested to see that one, is it along similar lines to the Ewards rep?

Re: Hi guys

Hi Evo, Welcome to the nut house - plenty of good advice to be had whenever you need it. Timbo, wasn't the last Wales run a non-event? Started off with big plans and lots of interest which seemed to peter out a tad? Shame cos there's some cracking roads there. Maybe we'll get one in this year - bori...

Re: Gear lever

You could always drill it and bolt it temporarily. Did one for Queensbury Lad when he dropped his, used a bit of old steel tube and the original rubber too. TBH I think the tube was either part of an old indicator stem, probably off A100 or GT125 maybe or even a gudgeon pin off same. You couldn't te...

Stick with it Tim

At least you're not bikeless waiting for it

Like you said before you bought it, you wanted a blank canvass to create your own master rather than buying one already done.
