Could you post a pic of this triangular piece of plastic please? I want to check it is on mine (I experience some hunting on a steady throttle also)!! Thanks Having re read the posts it would seem he is talking about the heat sheild that fits in front of the carbs... Triangel is a bit of a misleadi...

Yeah brake cleaner can do that to paint.

Just try whatever polish you have to hand...

Maybe clean the area first with WD-40 then polish.

If that fails then try T-cut or other cutting compound...

However doing that one area you may end up having to do the whole wheel to match the patch... :lol:

Or if you mean the front one same thing but a slightly different size...

Before you get new rubbers & spacers, try it with the pipe not bolted to the front one & see if it cures the buzz...

update: Took a look at this at the weekend, and found the bolt connecting the pip to the footpeg was super tight and rounded out! so looks like it was an issues for the person before. Anyway, the rubber mounted was old and started to split, it was on so tight it was crushing the rubber. Ive replace...

Nigelrb, heres some pics of the Mig Brackets... The curly thin bit I assume cradles the can but it is very thin tin so dont thing it will really do much. The biggest issue I can see with making them is the twist as they are obviously not flat... I do have a set that are mounted on a bike but the bra...

Took the old Storm out over the weekend, did 80 miles and really enjoyed it. it's all running nice and sweet, I'm going to miss riding it and sharing next weekend with you lot :( . Hoping one of you be able to help? I've a 99 Storm Ive had for about 2-3 years. I've noticed on the longer rides Im getting numbness in my right foot. obviously this would be down to a vibration, but what could it be to only be on the right side?! thanks :) Daz Sounds weird but make sure your carbs...
