Custurd TLC ptII... So back on the Abba, front wheel back out sprayed the forks, farted around doing a few other bits, wheel back in, put the refurbed callipers on with nice new SBS pads, bleed them up, nice firm leaver of slowingness, tightend & torqued up all the front wheel bolts, even off the Ab...

Custurds TLC continued today. Front callipers off & drianed, ready for a refurbed set to go back on. Front wheel out. Leccy dril & wire brush to strip all the old mankey paint off the forks, Etch primered. Swopped the discs as the bobbins were shot on the ones on it. Wheel back in loose so I could s...

I will be starting the build soon and I want to maybe make an airbox, not sure yet. do the brass tubes on top of the carbs vent directly into the box? a picture would be great! Welcome in, a poppin & a banging on the overrun may just be an air leak in the exhaust system joints. Have a poke around & make sure thay are all tight. The joint at the rear header to main header pipe has a habbit of rotting away... Mines done two ! As long as the graphite gasket has not blown you ...

Custard got a new indi bulb, kicked the tyres & checked the oil... Later in the day did a C&S swop on Numpty Kirons CB125... New chain had a split link not rivets. The old one possibly the origonal was hanging off the sprocket it was so worn. Cut it off with bolt croppers... :lol: :lol: Strange fixi...
