Re: God bless the land of the free!

i think long range bombers are beautiful aircraft. they are designed for one thing only, to kill people as a direct or indirect consequence of dropping bombs. the pilots drop the bombs through choice of obeying or disobeying their orders. its not the aircraft killing people. its the people taking th...

Re: headers with the yoshi's

i love the balance piece.

i bet they will sound lovely and add a beautiful bit of smoothness to the overall running with that balance pipe added in.

Re: RAM AIR on the cheap??

aside from the fact that you will be effectively lengthening the intake to about 2 feet to make the engine work, its going to have to try dragging about 6 cubic feet in when the air flow isnt fast enough im sure to overcome this the snorkel will be left in place wth a thin membrane covering the insi...

Re: New airbox snorkel mod

i'd be interested to know the calculations for the improvement tony.

i'd also be interested to see inside a genuine revolution racing airbox to see the modifications done there.

Re: RAM AIR on the cheap??

an engine at stage 1 can be anything you like

to make it work effectively the carbs need to be worked to breathe out of the snorkle and the ram air tubes. that means the air box has to see positive and negative pressure.

it wont be cheap. if you try it cheap you will be wasting your time

Re: bellypan restoration

since you put it like that, it looks spanking.

i havent flattened it down yet either.

ive not used any heat proof mat or anything yet. it hasnt appeard to have needed any. with my relocation of brackets, the warmer parts of the exhaust dont go near it.
