There's got to be a leak, it might only be under pressure. Fill it back up again & can you get somebody to pull the lever in whist you look fo the leak. I would have thought there would have been evidence around somewhere.

Thanks for that, think you're right that it's 14mm, I have 2 already but they won't go all the way down to the plug, the walls are too thick. Good idea I'll buy plugs tomorrow & take them with me.

Spark Plug Spanner

Storm has developed a misfire, which 'I think' is the spark plug in the rear pot. Unfortunately i can't get the plug out due to not having a correct spanner, got standard plug spanners/sockets but they won't go all the way down. Anybody got an aftermarket one they can reccomend.

See told you that somebody nicer than me would come along. For what it's worth I'm just finished the mod took about 20 minutes & that included checking the PC to make sure I got the wires the right way round. I didn't cut the wires just put a thin scredriver down from the back & released the...

I would suspect the regulator/rectifier there's a howto somewhere which tells you haw to test it, a search will turn it up I'm sure. Or somebody more helpful will post with the link.

As if

the fuel consumption wasn't bad enough my Storm has decided to leak fuel. The seal had gone between the tank & the tap, 85 miles on a tank, however suppose I'm lucky it didn't catch fire.
