Bought one of these today Solar Battery Charger for £9.99. The alarm runs the battery down this time of year when I don't get much running done. Fairly new around here so if this is against the forum rules sorry, I have no connection with Maplins just thought it was a neat idea.

Have you got good connections on the battery, starter motor & earth from engine to frame. Are they all tight? Might be worth checking them all over just incase one is going hi-resistance if the bike has been stored anywhere with slight damp or you're riding in rain/salted roads.

Have you got a USB charger for it, it's one of those small ones, same as Sony cameras, try that my other Motorola will not charge from mains only USB.

Last twice I have been there there has been no charge. Was also talking to some locals who come to watch quite regulary
