A europe spec headlight won't pass an MoT....when you adjust it for UK roads it doesn't dip enough to pass the test.

I used the long stalk micro arrow indicators. They just poke out through the hole in the fairing left for the OE indicators probably taken from a routemaster bus. Obviously they don't fit flush, but all you can see is the lens assembly poking out and they look pretty good...if I do say so myself

VIN numbers will tell you stuff like which company made the bike, which factory it was built in, which engine is in it and which model bike it is. The last five or six numbers are just the sequential number and are unique to each bike. As Pete says, the model designation and pait code should be on a...

If you let it tick over, you may hear what sounds like (and is) the cam chain slapping around inside the engine casing. Pick the revs up and it will stop. Back off the throttle and it will rattle alot more. It generally sounds worse when the engine is on the over run as you're slowing down, usually ...

Essex Bloke, I've got some R&G Bungs on. I couldn't say how easy to fit they are as I bottled it and got someone to do it for me. They work pretty well, as it didn't suffer any damage when some knob at work tried to move my bike and dropped it on the floor! You'll need (if you haven't already) t...

Any chance you could post a piccie of what it looks like now? I'm thinking of fitting blueflames myself. Just wanted to see how it looks, esp on the left hand side if you had problems. Did you get Hi or Lo level?

 Ah the secret is out. Unfortunately yes, I work for the Dark Side. I've never stuck someone on for small plates/dark visors/race cans though! Some of us are human after all....and I ride my 'storm all year round, every day unless it's snowing.

Kaz...Road Angels do the job pretty well, but I spoke to a guy on Wednesday who got done by a bloke sat on top of a bridge with a laser speed gun/camera set up. His Road Angel didn't even pick it up. He asked me to test it for him, and the laser speed gun we used picked his vehicle up and recorded a...

Anyone tried a mobile (yes, hands free, before you ask) via earpiece or Bluetooth? I once saw a bloke riding down Kings Road in Chelsea on a Harley, wearing an open faced lid with his mobile phone jammed up the side of it against his ear....at least it was hands free!! There was a firm at the NEC s...

I'm about to replace my THIRD tensioner since I owned this bike (2000 model 16k miles) and every time it's been the front one. Just check before you fork out to replace both, as most people who've had one fail it's been just the front one. I've not tried the APE tensioners, but I'm sure someone will...

I'm a bit late on his I know but.... The police won't (or shouldn't) be interested in your cans because they haven't caused or contributed to the collision. In fact you could argue that if they are louder than standard she should have heard you coming. If neither you or the driver of the other vehic...

Cheers for that. The bike is a 2000 model, and the work has been done by two different dealerships. I've never questioned them about what exactly they do...but I will this time so thanks for the info
