Hi John,

I'm near Sunderland, an hour or so up the road. I'm offshore on a ship at the moment but hopefully home on Friday (weather and helicopters permitting) so I can sort some photo's for you then.

Cheers.

Hi Dadbob,

I'm thinking about selling mine.

2002 F2 in metallic blue, high-level blue flame cans, datatool alarm, hugger, goodridge hoses, excellent condition, 4000miles.

Just serviced, diablo's fitted less than 400 miles ago.

£2800 for a quick sale if you're interested.

Can't see much difference in mine either. Mind you, the pipes might be affecting things so will see once it's eventually jetted. In all honesty I can't see any improvement in the F2 over the FV I had before. The speedo's harder to read and you have to drain the tank to remove it. The forks seem slig...

Thanks for that Mike.

Spoke to the chap and looking at £260 for a filter, dynojet kit and setting-up. Not sure when I'll manage to get it done but I'll post the results once it happens.

Dyno in the North east

Can anyone recommend a good dyno in the North East?
I've got high-level Blue-Flame cans fitted which are great but causing lumpy running at around 2500rpm, so planning on a K&N filter and setting up properly. Always nicer to to go somewhere whose work is recommended (or not).....

Cheers.

F2 fuel flow improvement(?)

Just took the tank off my F2 for the first time and got covered in petrol. 8O On my first storm ('97) the fuel tap was fitted to the tank and wouldn't leak due to the vacuum pipe, so I assumed (first mistake) that the same set-up applied and just lifted the tank and pulled the pipes. When I finally ...

Hi Barry,
I'm interested in the Powerbronze lowers if you've still got them. What colour and how much are you looking for?

I didn't have the heart to tell him I'd just seen one almost the same go on fleabay for £1550.

Still, he's happy with it. His first words to me were "why didn't anyone tell me about these".

Another convert! :)

I paid £2800 for my '52 plate F2, 4000 miles with high level blue-flames, hugger, braided hoses etc last September.

Two months later my mates brother bought a '98 storm for the same price.

Best of luck. A bit more good weather is always good for a sale at this time of year.

:) Thanks to everyone for the replies and pics.

Think I'll go for the powerbronze.

I'll stick a post in the relevant section and see if anyone has one lying around, otherwise write a letter to Santa.

Fairing Lowers

Joined yesterday and impressed already. I'm looking to fit fairing lowers but not sure what make to go for. Colour match no problem as I've a mate who'll paint them. I've searched the site and been through the gallery and think powerbronze or sharkskinz are probably best but can't find decent (not m...

Hello

Hi, Just aquired my second VTR (2002 blue, hi-level cans) after mistakenly swapping my first one (1997, Yellow, Micron race cans, belly pan, seat hump, etc) for a ZRX1100 in a totally wasted effort to slow myself down. All I did was bored myself silly, so if you're considering a retro DONT DO IT. Ch...
