Re: I'm a very lucky man!

Tried that link and when posted the thread pictures weren't there!

I think it's just the pic as they certainly appear OK on the bike.

Have checked with them and they definately still have it, was going to try for a part ex deal with my new CBR 600 just so I can have t...

SP1 future classic?

It's the age old question, is the SP1 looking like being a future classic. Noticed they sit on fleabay fairly cheap and quite often fail to sell. I bought mine back just before Christmas, chap said he couldn't ride it in town !!!! Lad at Kirkcaldy Motorcycles is adamant all the Honda men reckon SP1 ...

Re: SP 1 misfire

Yeah, new plugs specced for the bike fitted at service. Air filters given clean bill of health.

Power Commander fitted and unplugged just now, fault still there.

Flapper mod not done, standard bike completely.

I will have a check on the bolts tomorrow.

Thanks

SP 1 misfire

Looking for any ideas here as to what might cause the SP 1 to suffer the occasional misfire. By that I mean when accelerating from low revs I get the occasional splutter like its firing on one cylinder, it can happen hot or cold. It lasts for a couple of seconds only. Bike has just been serviced by ...

Re: Practical Sportsbike mag July 2012

Some stuff from the 80s and 90s are selling for whopping prices after being featured in the magazine. Guess that's good if you own them.
It's a good read though.

Practical Sportsbike mag July 2012

Page 35, Hondas in the Highlands, that's me that is. Chuffed to get a mention for a couple of old Honda's.
Who else recalls or indeed still runs any old Honda bikes?

Yes I know there's a Ducrapi in the picture, that's gone now the SP1 has taken the space.
