cool, I had thought of that, but they'd still have to be ikle ovals to not look like my vitter had turded itself. I'm in the process of selling my house at the mo, so once finished I'll have a play mocking something up and will post finding back here.

yeah man, but then where do the cans go. So far the only think I can think of is what the VFR dude did, making a purpose build muffler to fill the gap between the sump and swing arm joint...but there's not much space....GOD DAMN IT JIM, I'M A DOCTOR NOT A PHYSISIST! 8O

Yeah, the rear header would be a biyatch definately, but impossible? The buels can manage it, albeit with higher engine mounts I understand...I found this on a vfr site:
