Strange but just read about these on a Yamaha Fazer site. The main points were A) They aren't legal and won't pass an MOT, but we all know about changing no plate and cans for this.......... I think, but B) Most importantly as they said do you think a cager with the wife and kids yakking would see t...

Interesting. Looked at this bike as it was going cheap (sticker price on 'screen says 2,999ukp). Rang 'em and rep was honest enough to say it'd been up the road and resprayed. Not bad job but far from mint. He also said that they eBay the ones they think are the least likely to sell in the showroom!...

Well, I am looking at the moment on that famous internet selling site and you won't get 2K for a thirty thousand miler however sweet it is. 97/98 bikes with 18-24K max are only getting about 1700ukp if yer lucky! Good luck with the change though. I reckon twisting yer Bro's arm might be the best cou...

Interesting point you make Bluesman. I'm one of those born again riders having come back to it all with a 600 Suzuki. Now want a fastish, reliable thumper (have already ordered Dave Greenwood mod CCT springs before I've even bought a Storm!) that looks good and feels lighter than its capacity would ...

Can of worms time, but................ fastest colour?

For a Firestorm? I just wondered how it is perceived out there in Storm owners land. I like red ones but think the yellow has the edge as the fastest/best. Not keen on the blue at all and black? So so. Personal opinion mind.

So what's your take?

Thanks for those comments. The one I am looking at has had braided hoses fitted, rebuilt and resprung front shocks and a rebuilt rear. It feels very light to me and as I really want a semi sports bike rather than a balls out racer it seems to fit the bill. I watch my mate riding in front of me with...

Seriously considering a VTR 1000. In and outs of 'em please?

At the point of buying a '98 bike with approx 18 K on the clock. Now I know this will be a biased site (and why not as owners you love 'em!), but an honest appraisal of them would be appreciated by this up-to-now loyal Suzuki man!!!
Thanks!!!
