Finally....
Been promising for years to get my Firestorm back on the road and finally I've at least started... Bought it new back in 2002, been off the road 8 or 9 years I guess.. Good news, new battery and finally got it running. All sorts of problems until I deleted the original Datatool system 3 alarm. Now i...

Next day delivery. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251666124071 Thanks for the replies. I'll go with one of these I think, cheaper than I expected! Fancy a Lithium but got to...
Battery
Posting here because I can't be arsed with Google right now. My Firestorm has been idle for about 8 years but I want to get her going again. Re: Not exactly new...
Not quite yet, as it's way to cold, but I'm going to get this beast back on the road this year. Just to hear the Two Brothers Racing exhaust again if nothing else.. I'll keep you updated on how it goes getting it running after 8 ish years. It's a Honda, it'll be fine, right?

Bought my Firestorm new back in 2002, haven't used it for maybe 7 years but this year was the year....

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I haven't been around for a while so I'm gutted to hear of Benny's death while perusing the forum. Never met the guy but always enjoyed his posts and he was a legend here. I'm not surprised you gave him a good send off and looked after his family, I'm just pissed off I missed it. You all are awesome...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I SORN'ed it.
It became a commuting bike but not needed for that anymore. Hopefully I'll get it taxed/MOT'ed when the weather is better and taken out to remind me why I've always kept it.......

Not sure but I would say we did about 220 miles. 510 for the weekend, 240 getting there and back and a little tour of York Sunday Morning.seb421 wrote:How far did Flattys group ride?

I'm definitely in if work allows. This is going to be hard to organize due to the distance for a lot of people but I have no doubt it will be well worth it
