Re: new tyres :)

Currently running Pirelli Angel ST's which I love and last pretty well. Fancy trying Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interact, anyone any experience of theses? Seem to get good reviews and possibly last longer. 65 mile/day commute so need something that lasts but needs to be a 'touring' tyre good for both wet a...

Re: This weather STINKS!

Just bought some new gear from Hein Gericke. Well, it's definitely waterproof :D

That proved, wish the rain would now piss off :(

Re: Fuel consumption

They aren't that bad, just seems it 'cos the tank is small. Obviously if you go everywhere at full throttle it will guzzle the fuel - same as any bike.

Re: Miss Your Storm - Would you? Do You? Why?

Bought my Storm new 10 years ago. Recently bought a new bike but kept the Storm as well. Love it, but it realistically it's not worth a lot so kept it for commuting. The commute is 65 miles/day so it's now getting more use than ever :D Been attacked by salt, dropped twice and has let me down once. D...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Looks good. Plenty of salt damage on mine, a bit of black paint would cover it up nicely

And as it's Yellow, anything black looks good :D

At least my bike and all my gear got a good wash coming home tonight :D

Need some good weather to put more miles on the Griso though. Really want that 1st service done asap.

Peaklife 3.5" Motorcycle Weatherproof GPS SAT/NAV

Anyone got one? Just bought one brand new off eBay for £90. Waterproof, mounts, loads of cables inc. 12V - 5V supply. Comes with Igo8 + maps but Win CE 5 based so can get TomTom running on it, but I've heard good things about Igo8. Worth a try - other dedicated bike Sat Navs are stupid money and bu...

Re: CNC kit

Look good, but they should show exactly what they mean by re-profiling, looks quite extreme from the photo.

How do you hack away at your fairing and screen and make it look like it was supposed to be like that?

Any idea how many miles that clutch had done before it started slipping?

Glad you got it sorted, looked pretty easy to do.

could I take a moment to apologise to everyone for my little Meistersinger (F7 is shite) earlier. I typed the dreaded F word by mistake, sent it and then realised. I thought 'wombel it' the forum will automatically sort it out and change it too a Wombel.....................it did not, hence my apol...

Re: Diavel test

Was tempted by the Diavel but wasn't sure. Decided that if I had to think about it then it wasn't for me. Sounds like a good decision, every bike goes fast in a straight line, but they don't all corner the same......... Prefer the Hypermotard, my mates wife has one - great fun but wouldn't want to s...
