I am aware that its not supposed to be 6mm up and 6mm down. I was under the impression I had that correct already. I will check that tonight and hopefully that will be the end to all this trouble

I got the engine back in the correct timing. Installed and tightened the tensioners to there recommended tension. But I am still having problems with my front and rear chains jumping up and back down in the top of each stroke. Any ideas on what it might be?

I did lol. I figured that part out. Turns out I’ll need to completely retime the cams. Can you remove the cams without removing heads? First time into a vtwin so bear with me

I’ve got another question. What direction do the cam sprockets need to be in if I removed them? I was stupid enough and didn’t take pictures before removal
