agreed, my sp60 got me a 3pointer and £45, in fairness it was 92mph on a 70 d/c. very nice man understood the conditions and reccomended take the offer. He said , take it to appeal and you could end up worse off.
so I took the fixed penalty and avoided court.

we had a Villa in Florida, just started it in the June and the bookings were comming in, 9-11 happened and many stayed home then there were the people who wanted to offer stupid money and the rest went because they knew it was going to be safe.

ok, just filled mine up and took 13 litres... 16-13=3 :oops: so will be looking around 25 miles. one thing we did find out at work, one of the old setters had a GS550, If he filled up at BP,Shell, Texaco he got in to work 6 days a week. but if he used Murco or cheap ones he only made it 5 days. this...

if memory serves me, the law allows you to be 10% over, to allow for such errors. if you are a toolmaker you should have access to a c spanner for milling collets, find one near the size or check ebay, someone was selling a tool kit the other day, if you havnt got yours.

been reading thru the tank thing, cant be arssed to change the tank size , Ive checked the online and Haynes manuals but havnt got a handbook yet.
can someone tell me roughly how much fuel is left in the tank when the red light comes on? I see it should be a 16litre tank but how much is reserve.

cant call myself a full on rider, longest I had one bike was 4 years (Ducati 851) did 750 miles (nightshift killer) had the original blade '95 or '96 purple/white thing. after the cbr1000 it handled brilliant (for a racer) but wouldnt top 120, the cbr was great touring or racing to mallory for marsh...
