:oops: just a question, since Ive had the storm the garage smells bad of petrol! Ive got 3 other bikes ( 2 non runners) which have been in there all along , and a couple of jerry cans ( 1 filled recently) but when I open the doors there is a really strong smell of petrol. never been this bad before,...

years ago we used to run 125w main beams in cars ( read 1970-1980) never had a problem as electrics were checked often, with regards to today, the sensors/fuses are so sensative along with relays they may cause a problem

probably due to corrosion and dirt.
you could try a good dose of wd40 and mild heat from a hot air gun or hair dryer instead of a blow torch.
a impact driver might give it enough to move or if you can get an impact wrench the vibration should do it.

AA , have used them 3 or 4 times cars and bikes. allways have the right vehicle for the job, some use normal pickups without propper bike holding fittings.
