Re: Duffy's Streetfighter Project

Looks awesome Duffy. People seem to always want to do away with the side mounted radiators when streetfightering, but them in black with the black frame looks great. I’m particularly interested in your orange rear hugger and belly pan... did you spray them yourself? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: GrainStorm VI...Return of the Sarni...

Wow some mint looking storms there! The joint sound must have been fantastic. Gutted to have missed out today - hopefully there will be another event soon enough that I can tag along at. Looks like you all had a wicked time! Looking forward to some of that Mac magic next weekend. CCTs just have to l...

Re: NEW!!! MCCT's Installation Guide

Oh yeah Mike Shrieve! He’s a great drummer. Hadn’t seen this recording though - it’s fantastic! Thanks for the share. That maraca mans chicken dance has made my morning haha! What a supreme nutter. That is an incredibly generous offer and I’ll absolutely take you up on it if you don’t mind. I’ll mov...

Re: NEW!!! MCCT's Installation Guide

I think I may as well just go for full conversion as it seems inevitable anyway. Will keep you posted! Now we’re talking! My avatar is Elvin Jones (he’s the man) - check out Wayne Shorter ‘Night Dreamer’ album to hear him in full flight - particularly the track ‘Armageddon’ I love. I didn’t know abo...

Re: GrainStorm VI...Return of the Sarni...

Argh this would have been ideal but it’s a working weekend for me unfortunately. Hopefully join the next event!

Re: NEW!!! MCCT's Installation Guide

Massive respect to VTRDark for the original mcct guide... a lot of time and effort went into that. Restores your faith in humanity! I’d read about this procedure before buying my storm. How likely are the auto tensioners to fail? I’m not against manual conversion (under guidance) to my storm at all ...

Re: Hi from East Herts

Cheers for the responses all! The reviews for a few different brands now seem to be overwhelmingly negative. I’ll probably just stick to what I know and invest in another decent throw over (current one is stuffed) and maybe install a ground anchor to my driveway. I feel more incentivised to clean th...

Re: Hi from East Herts

Tapatalk works well cheers Kev! I’ll post some piccies of my beast (motorcycle!) once I get 10 minutes without being surrounded by kids. (Happy chaos) Quick question to chuck out into the hive mind - didn’t see it necessary to start a new thread somewhere but tell me if I’m out of line. I keep my bi...

Re: Hi from East Herts

Thanks for the welcome! Cheers Mac I’ll look into those - May end up going carbon if I can find an orange belly pan/ fairing lower (the current one is grey)... quite like the full fairing look achieved by a few I’ve seen. Failing that I might start looking into how much it would cost to buy uncoated...

Hi from East Herts

Hello all, Thanks for accepting me on to the forum. Bought my bright orange 2001 storm a week ago which I’ll be using as my year round commuter. It’s my first ‘proper’ big bike having come from a Blue 2002 Bandit 600s which a Jaguar SUV kindly binned - but to be honest I can’t imagine going back! Th...
