what warranty, that'll be a bit on the cct's not ya engine. Also Honda are selling modified cct's, i think not mate. I will do it for, err cct's and gaskets are about £80, so that's £136ish labour, they going to check the cam timing for that? ask if you can watch? is so then that ain't to bad. Bet...

I don't really think there is a rule, as it wears it will stretch and as it is a fixed length to start with so that the cam tiiming is correct. Once it starts to stretch then when the caming timing is checked it is really easy to see as the timing marks on the cam wheels (FI-FE for the front cylinde...

Ouch, well it could be. Just buy another cct and when it is changed get the front cam timing checked at the same time (just need to take the front cam cover off) and if the timing marks can not be made to line up then the cam chain has stretched and also needs replacing. Bluesman, be really careful with this as there is next to zero normal force in an inline four against the cct due to the small cam lobes and small springs where as the VTR has more valve lift and an enormous amount of spring pressure on the valves which loads up the cct.
