when you take the (unscrew) worm type gear apart the inside of the receiving part is not flat at the bottom and is curved so depending on the diameter of the rod you use will determine how far it goes in as it will sit at a different depth, the thinner it is the further it will go in.

Yeah it does, the problem is I never should have had the test of the one with the blower because, I WANT ONE. When I got back in my car it was like going from my car to my wife's car (2.0TDi Zafira). Just aint got £5k :x

all the vtr's i have had have never turned the oil black and used to run it all year (snow/salt the lot) and never had a rusty oil filter. Oil was always as it was out of the can. But i did flush it slightly ever time i changed the oil and waited a few hours for it all to drain out.

every service or when you feel the need just remove the bolt in the cct @ tdc comp stroke and see how many turns you get as the rod will stop it solid. This was you also can gauge the cam chain stretch. If i had the time and a storm i would run it without the spring installed to prove it but aint go...

is it new? if not maybe it had a dyno jet kit fitted before and if it now has standard cans, was this kit removed along with the jets. does it have a K&N as it could be over oiled. hard to say without the bike. You could try some stuff yourself, change the carbs if you can get a set, is it an im...
