Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Thank you, Yessss, I have made 4000 km in this 5 months, and since I knew about the cct problem in the forums, I has been always thinking that the engine were going to explode.. pace of mind now. I noticed that the automatic cct keep the chain in the tense side, ( maybe 2 or 3 mm of flexing in both ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Sometimes it's easier to drain the coolant and remove the LH side radiator- it's not much extra work, you can reuse the coolant, and access is so much easier. You can do it without taking the rad off, but it's fiddly. Work finished and tested. Working fine. You are wright.. I have changed...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I have started the CCT change this afternoon. I have changed the rear one, and learned how to do it thanks to the good access of the rear cylinder, tomorrow the front one.. Not too much room to do it !
Valve clearance were ok in the rear cylinder. Let´s see tomorrow.

Re: Clutch Problem
Seems air in the circuit, you should try to change and bleed it. Is cheap and easy, and probably will solve your problem. When install my new high handlebar I had to change the clutch line for the longer one that came with the kit, so, I had to disassemble completely the old one. The fluid were brow...

Welcome to the forum,
Re: MCCTs
Arrived today. Very impressed, not cheap, but brilliant design, and very well manufactured imo.
Re: MCCTs
I will do valve clearance when I change cct´s, there is a small clicking in the front cylinder when cold. Bought my VTR four months ago with 85000 km on the clock, ( OEM cct), and I don´t know about the bike history, ( i dodn´t know about the cct problem then..
Thanks for the reply.
Thanks for the reply.
Re: MCCTs
Nice to know, thanks for the info and the link.
I liked too much the design of this tensioners compared with the " threaded bar" ones.
Did you add thread lock to the nut, or is enough with the serrated shape of the nut?

Re: 16/41 sprockets going up two rear
I have been thinking about the 43 tooth sprocket also. Now I have a new DID standard kit, ( about 2000km) For the position of the wheel shaft i´m sure that the 43 tooth sprocket fits with the standard chain. ( to back). I´m not planing to go at 250km/h, and actually at 120km/h the engine sounds nice...
