Just been for a spin and I don't think I'll change a thing. AWSOME. Ok so Ive been doodling around on leaky seals for a month or so and the shock was wrecked. BUT Replaced the shock - greased all the linkages. Added a 3mm spacer to speed it up into corners and just got the fork seals sorted. Dropped...

Looks the nuts my man. You have to try and get the exhausts under the seat where the old R1 jobbies were. This may not be feasable but that shot of the rear of the bike looks beautiful and I can just imagine two little carbon numbers under there. I'll even give you my slightly shoddy carbon microns ...

Have to agree on the michelin thing - but I remember watching during the 990 years and the results looked the complete reverse of what we saw today. When bridgestone languished on the lower half of the table. But that was expected. Also agree with what mick doohan said,no one - make rule. Any compan...

Still giggling now! Just having the conversation with some lads last week - "so do you reckon rossi's actually got under his skin?" I think we now know the answer.   The only chance rossi had was to pick the pace up by about 5% - so he does! Unbelievable. He is truly ...

My PKN ones are fine, the numbers on top of the seals matched the original Honda parts ,,,,imo the main thing is make sure there is a tension spring fitted to top and underneath of seal. I agree mate - PKN were really fair and realised they had a batch of sh*te seals. But if they now have the type ...

I'm sure they'll be fine for now but they must be low by the volume of the spring. Which will add up to a few ml. The fact that they feel firm already is strange but the front felt so much better on my short ride home from work. Also did the shock and greased all the bearings and linkages so I can't...

bloody forks
finally got my third set of fork seals on the bike today. Left the instructions behind and put the oil in with the springs in the tube. Got back and read one of the threads here saying to measure 130mm from the top WITHOUT springs in ----- butt! Any idea what sort of difference that will make. I ass...

That said, I can defimitely vouch for upgraded brakes - GSXR 6 pots and SP1 master on mine and if I squeeze hard I'm lucky if my eyes dont fall out. Do them gsxr6 pots fit straight on to the storm mounts kitch? What models can you upgrade from with a straight switch? If all this is in another threa...
