Thanks for a helpful and great write up, it took me about 4 hours. All good apart from a split fuel hose putting the tank back on (the hose had gone hard) thanks.

Scorpion exhaust
Hi there, I've had the oval scorpion decal come off the muffler. I'm wondering what is the best glue to use to stick it back on ? I've tried Ados f2 contact adhesive but it came off as soon as the pipe got hot.

Hi people
Hi from Tauranga NZ, just bought my 3rd VTR over twenty years. This one's a 2002 in blue. Here in NZ radar detectors are legal to use, anyone using one specifically designed for a bike ? I'm looking to get one and recommendations are welcome
