I've dun the usual Google,found a few sites with Honda info,but would like to find out more if poss as my new bike is reg may '97 so wondering how many off the production line etc....

from an old duffer's perspective,I would say that for the money,heated grips are a sound investment,I've had 'em on every bike I've owned in the last 5 years,can't live without 'em now,fitted a pair to the new Fire engine as a priority ! was out after dark the other night when the temp dropped a tad...

so.... decided to strip it anyway,er,just to have a look,as you do,had to fabricate a flywheel puller (which took longer than the rest of the job) pulled it all apart,call me mr Impatient,if you will,but thought if the transfer gears are worn anyway,may as well try the welding them up trick.
