Yes, a bit of a lucky dip i guess. Thanks for the links. I was emailing biketorque racing in UK and they supply a DID X ring with JT sprockets and riveting tool (single use from memory) for about $40 less than I get get here. I got another engine for that bike with a lot much less km, I was thinking in a swap..the amount of work is quite the same Having done both I would say that pulling both heads is a piece of cake compared to swapping engines. did u replace the head gasket with a new one? This is a good question.depe...

..mm..
i'm little more oriented to the heads zone ( valve seals). it 's quite difficult to find different level of wear between two cylinders...

how is possible to have both cyl rings and bores worn? the bike run well In my opinion I have got more likely a valve problem, the smoke appear for a while on acc and then disappear now the problem is which head need to be serviced... :?: easy fix check the spark plugs.... if I found oil on them ? ...

I think the most likely cause of forks binding will be the axle; if it is a snug fit, pushing the axle through the clamp can drag that leg towards the other leg so that the sliders are not parallel. I'd start just by loosening the axle nut and both axle clamps and giving the forks a jolly good boun...
