Re: Do Honda's have the worst fuel efficiency?
A big contributor to the "bad fuel mileage" reputation is due to the fact that it is very easy to get these bikes too rich, IMHO. They run surprising well in this condition but also can use an amazing amount of fuel. A valid point but when you look at my post above, taking into account th...

Re: what's your best and or worst biking moment of 2016
2016 has been an awesome biking year for me, one of the best ever, dont think I had a bad moment at all . I did the Ron Haslam race school back in May with my brother, which was fantastic but the best part of it was whilst I was on track, my Dad was milling about and the organisers had, unbeknown to...
Re: KTM RC8
I know they had an issue with a chocolate tranny. riding position all on the wrists and butt in the air. I like them but don't know if I would have one. Have you ridden one? I think Bike magazine did a feature on ergonomics a couple of years back and the RC8 had a roomier position than the VFR1200 ...
Re: WTF !!!!!

My daughter loves it when the riders come off, unhurt and throw a tantrum, she appreciated that one!

Iron rusts like buggery I thought thou..Nowt that wrong with stainless discs on a road bike IMHO
Friend of mine ran a Superstock team and used the stock discs and OE pads with no problems on track, unless your at WSB/MotpGP level, I cant see anyone finding the shortcomings of a stock rotor.

Re: Been an absolute div
I like the idea of my numberplate falling off......... those plastic screws are very poor quality officer If your really cunning, you can snap a corner off your plate , screw that small section on and voila...guilt free.. This may or may not have happened when a "friend" picked up his Hay...

Re: Been an absolute div
We've all been there mate...Its a numbers game, I drive 45-50,000 miles a year for work and had a lucky escape with a speed awareness course earlier this year , 2 months later my luck run out and an unmarked BMW X3 followed me down the M6 for a good 2 or 3 junctions until I hung myself at 90MPH, the...

Having Firestorms, im sure we appreciate a nice set of carbs on here? I had my 500 carbs stripped, inspected & ultrasonically cleaned and popped the bike back together today, shes running much, much better. Before [url] http://thumbsnap.com/s/jbqPrqOb.jpg [url] http://thumbsnap.com/s/dDC8pM5R.jp...

Re: Bye Bye 2016!
Best top up the tank with petrol to stop any chance of water condensation triggering rust... There's so much water present in modern ethanol petrol, which then separates from the fuel and sits at the bottom of the tank, corroding it from the inside , that the best thing to do nowadays is drain it c...
