Re: New Remus exhaust. Should I drill it?

Was thinking of doing this myself, but there's obviously a fair amount of work to be done! It is much more work in this particular case in comparison to debaffling originals. I'm very happy that finally I thought about burning it out as grinding it is a nightmare. bloody hell, what's all that white...

Re: New Remus exhaust. Should I drill it?

German engineering, quality of steel and welds on this thing took me 4 hours of grinding and only 50% of one side was done. There is no option to drill it as the is not enough space and no flat surfaces. Finally tired of this sh1t I took welder, set to 130A and burned the baffle out. The result is m...

I've just bought Audi A8L D3 and I know why you don't want to sell it  I just love the sound of 4.2 V8. My vote will be for Diablo as it was my dream car as a kid.

Re: New Remus exhaust. Should I drill it?

You might be right. I've bought them for 100£ so if they will be too loud I can still sell them to someone that just wants to be heard by EVERYONE  Btw nothing beats the sound of our love without mufflers. Too bad that it is so loud and unhealthy to engine.

New Remus exhaust. Should I drill it?

Hi I've recently bought hi level Remus exhaust. It is nice looking and very light. The problem is with sound :? It sounds like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15oBfCxlwC0 Louder than stock, almost no bass, it is street legal. This one is pre Remus Revolution series so no removable baffle. The q...

Re: Compressor advice

C'mon guys.. 15cmf is great but it is surely not necessary for painting stuff around the household. Mine metabo has effective delivery of 7.8cmf at 80% pressure. It is just a matter of using the right tools and knowing the limitations. I know that I can't use HVLP paint gun with mine but I can use H...

Re: Compressor advice

I had a need to buy one for sanding and painting some stuff around the house like fence, scratches on car, bike parts. I went trough some opinions online but they just said stuff like "you want to paint a fence? you have to buy a compressor for loads of $$$, you need 400l/min, everything cheape...

Re: Brake Caliper Upgrade

Finally after some negotiations I've bought 954 MC and calipers in good shape for 72£ including shipping. Thick pads that will last some time are a bonus.

Re: Brake Caliper Upgrade

Thanks for all the responses :) you've convinced me to go with 945 full set. Fortunately the price I might get for R1 radial MC equals the price of 945 set so it will be nearly free upgrade  I got pair of 929 blade calipers and m/c with new pads off the bay of e, £180. Don't know if that is ch...

Re: Brake Caliper Upgrade

Hi guys Sorry for digging up this old thread. I have currently mounted stock callipers with radial MC from R1 '08. It has 16mm diameter. I don't really like how brakes works right now and I was thinking of switching to well known set of MC and callipers from f4i. Could you tell me which set will wor...

Re: what's your best and or worst biking moment of 2016

Best moment was buying my Storm after 2 years without a bike. Such a great machine she is :D

Worst moment was laying her down after front brake lock. We recovered mostly. Some winter buffing and she will be ready for the season.

Re: Streaky Bacon!

I remember from some books about riding technique that if you lock rear break during emergency braking you should keep it locked. Releasing it can release energy stored in rear suspension and eject you from the bike. This situation could be similar. Good luck with repairs, glad you are o.k. :D
