Tents!

Think about making a jaunt across to Spain mid-November and have decided my trusty 30 year old Vango Force Ten tent is a bit heavy/long in the tooth now. Anybody got any recommendations for a wee tent that is light but sturdy enough to stand the odd strong wind (from the inside as well as outside!!)...

Left Hand Switchgear - New

Bought this new from Mr Honda for the outrageous price of £133.72 as my bike had just failed its MOT on the headlamp dipswitch not working & I needed it fixed in a hurry. Subsequently got the old one fixed so the new one is now surplus to requirements & Mr Honda won't take it back into stock...

Re: Mystery widget!

Hi Chris No that was my previous mystery object which turned out to be the bung from the fairing mounting near the mirrors! This looks like what the O/P meant to link too. http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p573/popularh14/IMG_12921_zpsvlrsu7aw.jpg http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p573/popularh1...

Re: Mystery widget!

Yep that's the little fellah! Having probs with Photobucket hence the link issues!! The extra wire does indeed have an LED on the end of it so I think you are spot on with your ID! I do have a Datatool alarm/immobiliser fitted. The terminals on the LED look a bit corroded and it only works intermitt...

Mystery widget!

Took off my tail-light unit the other day and heard a mysterious rattling from within! Re: Gap under seat

Thanks for the steer Wicky - used a combination of things which have definitely improved matters if not completely solved them. Jacked up the tail unit using a couple of tap washers under the rear screws/bolts, removed the hooks and grab-handle and restored the seat hump for when I've not got a bag ...

Re: Op Storm Wales 2016. September 16, 17, 18

Was hoping to make it seeing as I'm not a million miles away here in St Davids but sadly it looks like I'm going to be working this weekend. If anybody gets seriously lost, finds themselves in Pembrokeshire and fancies a boat trip here we are: http://www.falconboats.co.uk/ https://www.facebook.com/f...
