Ive jumped my old FS plenty of times due to a battery drain caused by a corroded connection to the starter.
Used a portable battery pack, didnt seem to be a problem

Hello all,

Done the deal with Bazza and the conversions will be arriving shortly.
I dont have the facilities to perform this fitting but i do know of a mechanic who will do the deed for £80.
dont know if that is a good price or not, but it would cost a hell of a lot more with a dealer.

Bad flaw that, tho the back cct's don't seem to go as much might be lube is the problem.
Failsafe would have been to feature in a backstop to prevent tooth jump and valve crash.
Gives me the Willis, wish Bazza would contact me I want mine converted to manual ASAP
