32,000 miles cct went @29,000 new starter motor as the rubber boot on the power strap split and the bolt rusted into a blob and caused starting problems otherwise its a fab bike and I dont want anything else well maybe a later one, I went for a blast yesterday covering about 150 miles of twisty lane...

I know this is the worng place to put it but I really need a starter motor for my storm if anyone can help please let me know I am dessperate

Well my storm has been stuggling to turn over and I had a brief look at the starter motor, WOW the power strap that connects to it there is a small bolt wrth two nuts on it, well the nuts do not look like nuts anymore just blobs of rust the rubber boot has split and water has been sitting there eati...

Honda have had tried to make the ccts better 3 times now you would first get the j21 then j22 and now we have j23 at the end of the part no they are crap they will go after a while if you use the bike or not honda cant make ccts to save their lifes and the crap thing is WE HAVE 2 ON OUR BIKES

Common problem on the firestorm rebuild the master cyclinder or just get a brembo radial one.
