I actually think it looks pretty jazzy. I considered the solid colour tyres you can get. They just didn't get a good write up. My concern however would be the impact the paint could have on the tyre compound. I'm assuming it's had extensive testing done on it.

9x7, I don't understand by people want to attract the wrong sort of attention to their bikes. Gives the cops a reason to pull you over and thoroughly check your bike out, then if you can't produce licence or insurance you get a producer. More time wasted. What's the big deal about the plate anyway, ...

The "click" could be the stem moving as you brake due to the bearings being worn. The tapered bearings don't need to be torqued to the same as the ball bearings. You need to "seat" the bearings first with about 35nm, then slacken off and do up to about 3nm and do the locknut up h...
