Re: problem removing the front axel bolt
If ur still using a socket or spanner with slight play in it try padding it out with a bit of rubber(a cut from from a roll of innertube puncture patches, or an old inner tube). Omg gbm u had me in stitches reading that...
I can't even finish my lunch now.
U know what they say.. 2 minutes laughing is the equivalent of 20 mins on a rowing machine. I fell like I've done a marathon on a rowing machine after reading that post!

Slàinte agus là breith sona dhuit! :Beer1: Hope it's a good one! Oh to be that age again. 24. The age of youth. Of no sore bones, no aches and being able to party all weekend....The days of wine, women and song. Well, mainly wine and a little bit of women. Erm, or is that mainly women with a little...

Re: A Birthday for t13ony : An old man now he's hit 24.
Thankyou all so much for your kind birthday wishes! I was indeed pished for most of the weekend. And the vtr remained tucked up(still cutting out), which is a shame because I usually like to go a little birthday backroad blast before I try nd kill off my liver with alcohol :) thanx for all your kind...

Re: Damn Noise
I would have to agree with gingerbeard Pull the clutch in and out with it running and see if the noise goes Away. My bike, I think, needs a clutch basket or plates as it sounds like a muffled dry clutch until u pull the clutch lever in. If it doesn't go away... Get ur trusty screwdriver out.. Well.....

Re: Hi, from the new guy.

In the meantime I hav removed kickstand switch entirely and bike would click into gear and stay running so I'm assuming it is bypassed correctly..cleaned switc...

Kickstand switch earth location?
Update on the vtr kickstand switch issues! Checked operation of clutch switch seems normal. But having disconnected and reconnected clutch switch its now no longer faulting and has taken me to work and back all week. It could start acting up again but I will let you know as it happens. What I do nee...

Re: Wear on the edge of the tyre
I ride Michelin Road pilot 2's I have no chicken strips on the rear and a couple of mm on the front... I would agree with anyone that says modern tyres are designed to ride this way. I ran Bridgestone battlaxes on my last bike (cb400) nd it was the same story, I counter steer quite heavily, especial...
