i used simoniz high temp black which has come out satin but gives a nice contrast with the covers, just been reading through the cct threads and mine have a pink dot on them which i'm lead to believe have been changed by honda so i think i will do the stopper mod while the motor is in a easy positio...

Yes chain tensioners will be done would love to pep the motor a bit but there's still enough umph to get me in trouble in this standard lump :-D, new clutch plates are needed and what does anybody know about the keevlar plates on eBay?? Anygood??. Then finish the rebuild ready for some thrash B-)

Wow that's very well done, I don't usually like the two tone fork idea but that is really smart, the Honda and Showa decal is the cherry on the cake. i replaced that rectifier about 6yrs ago when the original died , had no probs since with this but do you still recommed changing it, have honda not fixed the problem ?

Plastic coating is done by nb coatings at pontefract. I'll be doing the engine covers in the same gloss black and simonize engine enammell for the rest of it.
