Re: old git

Yup, the V4 Tuono makes more power than the RSV4 until just over 10k revs. The RSV4 makes its 200+ HP by revving to 13k and beyond. Something you rarely want to get into on the street. It's a mid range monster. Expensive? Yes. But I don't want to die with money in the bank.

I have a complete front fairing in a rather nasty Cherry colour. Not sure of your location though.

I'm up for this. Either date is fine for me.

Re: The dead zone

There are quite a few zero-cost mods you can do on the bike. I'll give you a list if you like. Most of them weight reductions which I know you are so fond of.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Are there any interlocks (or fuses) that stop the engine firing but still allow the starter motor to turn over? I'm not sure on this as my bike is wired differently, but does the bike still turn over on the starter with the kill switch turned off :?: Chris. No, kill switch off and the starter motor...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Tried to start it. I want to warm it up and give it a final clean before it goes into the house for Winter. It coughed a few times and now refuses to fire. I've put some fresh petrol in and connected it up to jump leads off the car but it just turns over and shows no sign of a spark. It's cold outsi...

Re: Any plumbers here?

Ian, Yes the above mention of the overfkow hose being too long will cause a problem but I would also say that the connection to the washing machine/dishwasher should be past the u bend and not on it. As you empty out a full sink, water will flow down this also and just sit until you use said machin...
